Thankful Turkeys

We did our annual thankful turkeys again this year. It is always fun to see what my family is thankful for.

Layton:

The Singing Tree

After we stuffed our bellies, watched a movie and opened up gifts we went to Grapevine to see the singing tree. It was chilly outside! The kids had so much fun dancing while the lights moved and music played.

Thanksgiving Week ~ Zoo day

Katie's family arrived safely on Sunday. We were so excited they were able to come and celebrate Thanksgiving with everyone. On Wednesday, we all met up at the zoo. We got there at 2:00 in the afternoon. We found out that zoo closes at 4:00. That would still give us plenty of time to run around and see all the attractions. Towards the end of our visit, the place was virtually empty. The weather was beautiful. The crowd was minimal.
