We arrived at Todd's friend, Jack's birthday party in a rush. Thirty minutes later the Fire Department showed up. They brought the BIG truck with about five firefighters. They asked for the person driving the big black truck to move because they are blocking the fire hydrant. Awesome, that would be me. You know that feeling when you walk into a room and everyone stops what they are doing and looks at you. That is how it felt. By the time I got back from re-parking the truck all the kids were outside. The sweet firefighters let all the boys come out and tour the fire truck. I hope I added to their birthday party experience. As they left they turned the sirens on. The coolest party e v e r!
*Bonus - they were kind enough not to issue me a ticket.
