Halloween Eve & Halloween Night

We have had a busy two days of costumes and candy.

Friday night

We went to Trunk or Treat at church. It was really cold that evening. Todd and Reagan didn't care! Layton was warm and snuggled up in his carrier asleep. We took pictures before we left.

Halloween Night


We started the evening off eating dinner at the Quinn's house. We made spider web pizzas and crusty mummies with hot dogs.

After that we met up with a few more friends and off we went running through the neighborhood trick or treating. The kids had so much fun! It is always such a treat to see your kids so excited! Next year, our little Layton will be walking the streets with us. Kids really do make the holidays special.

Dear Adam,

While I was feeding our sweet little Layton YOUR daughter found your cardboard picture of a boar you use for practicing with your bow. She decided to have a picnic on it. You see, I fed her a peanut butter sandwich for lunch today and apparently that wasn't enough. This is how I found her.

The PUMPKIN patch

We decided to hit a different pumpkin patch this year. We also waited until it was the last Saturday before Halloween. Oh, how we try for our kids! It was CRAZY! Not to mention the traffic getting there and back was insane due to the air show. Todd had a good time. He was able to ride two rides in an hour. We rode the hayride ALL together. Reagan really liked that. Maybe next year we won't wait until everyone else decides to go.

My FAVORITE Place to Sleep

This is Layton's favorite place to sleep. Since the first night in the hospital this has been the spot.


It's five and I am trying to get dinner finished. Baby is in the background crying. Put baby on play mat. Baby cries. Put baby in swing. Baby cries. Put baby in bed. Baby cries. Mommy picks up baby. Baby falls fast asleep. It happens just like that!

I think he likes to sleep here because he is as close as he can get to breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Someone has written graffiti on our couch. We have some possible suspects and we all have our theories.

It appears the letters read: T - o - d - d.

We have not received the results from our handwriting expert yet to determine a 100% that these are in fact the letters in question.

Possible Theories:

• Grandpa: Maybe Reagan is trying to frame Todd.
• Grandma: Todd did it.
• Mommy: Todd did it.
• Daddy: Todd did it.

Since the remainder of the people in the household are minors we have decided not to publicly display their theories or comments.
