The Mall park

Todd brought home a school project last week that had listed 5 things about him. One of the things was his favorite place to go. He listed the Mall. Sometimes he says the grocery store but on this particular occasion the listed the Mall. He loves the mall because of the indoor park. We usually get a cookie too but mainly I am sure it is because of the park. I have been taking Todd here since before he could walk. It brings back so many memories. Today, we went there to get together with a few sisters in the ward to do a little visiting teaching. Kids play; moms talk. What could be better than that? Except, for the part where Reagan likes to run away it is great! This will be Todd's last year that he can officially play in there because he is getting too big.

A day in the LIFE ~ Part 2

Everyday we try to venture out before noon to ensure that Reagan gets to lay down by then for her nap. No outing would be complete without a stop at Sonic. It's pretty sad when the carhop knows you and then says, "See you tomorrow". I'm contributing to the economy, right?

Mondays are generally house cleaning day because I did absolutely nothing all weekend. Today I did all the bedding. Here is Todd protesting the washing of his blanket.
It is one thing to finally get it in the washer but another convincing him that it needs to be dried.

At the end of the day my patience is worn and I am ready for peace. No day is ever the same which makes for an interesting life, right? I am truly blessed to have such a life! Life goes by so fast. Someday I will look back at these pictures and truly miss it.

A day in the life of Mrs. Killebrew ~ Part 1

Some of my friends and I decided we would blog about a day in our life. Here it is...

This is what I wake up to every morning. He is always extremely happy and ready to go.

Now, those of you who do not have girls will find my next comment fascinating. Reagan has beautiful curls. When she wakes up from her nap, or in the morning or even if she has been sitting in the car too long, her hair is crazy. We have to wet it down with the spray bottle and also detangler conditioner. Pretty isn't it?

This particular morning we said goodbye to daddy for the week. He tried to look really sad here. I told him it was going in the blog. Cute, huh?

What would a day be without a spill of something somewhere?

Summer Vacation

We left on Tuesday to Utah. We barely made our flight :( . I decided to fall asleep after the alarm went off. The kids did really well on the flight until the last few minutes. Todd especially was ready to run! We arrived in Salt Lake and headed to the rental car. The rental car had a huge line so Reagan and Todd played and drove me crazy. We got our car and headed to Katie's place. We met our new niece/cousin Sawyer. She is a cutie! Reagan fell in love with her. She loves babies. The kids played in the park until we left to check into our hotel. We got to the hotel and decided to go for a swim until dinner. The floor at the pool had been painted with an oil based paint. It was so slippery. Adam fell with Reagan. We had to walk so carefully it was not fun. We left the pool, dressed and went out to dinner with the entire Clark family. It was so fun to see everyone. The next day we drove up to Sqaw Peak and showed Todd how beautiful the mountains are. That night Katie and I went to see a movie. It was fun. The guys went golfing earlier that day. The next day we went to visit Kathy and see her new place. She and Todd are still living marrital bliss. Later we went to Thanksgiving point. We walked through the gardens there. They are so beautiful! The kids had so much fun getting wet! That night we went over to Nicki and Edson's home and enjoyed dinner and an outside movie. We had a little technical difficulty with the movie but it still so much fun. The next morning we got up and went to breakfast with Kathy and Todd and Chris, Katie, Paisley and Sawyer at Kneaders. It was so yummy! We met my parents at the airport and visited with them for about an hour. We made our flight with plenty of time to spare. We had such a great time and as always we never have enough time!
