It was a dark and stormy night...

I am finally posting the pictures from our wonderful Texas hail storm/Tornado. We loaded the kids into the bathroom and waited for it to pass. When we heard the hail hitting the house we had to get up and take a look. Our poor vehicles were hit hard. Here are a couple pictures from that night...

Snow King

The anticipation is over! The stand is open. After weeks of planning and preparing the stand opened this week. Adam, myself and the two kiddos loaded up the stand with supplies. I think this has been a wonderful opportunity for us to work together as a family.
It has been a great first week considering the rain and colder weather. There are people lined up before we open. Adam said customers bang on the window asking when it will open. Yesterday, was my first day. It was so much fun! My hand froze and I thought it would fall off or become crippled. Alas, my hand has recovered and I am able to type. Our goal this year is to pay off the loan and maybe squeeze out enough for a trip to our home away from home, Disneyland.

Reagan's Birthday

We celebrated Reagan's 1st birthday with not one but two birthday parties. Her first birthday was with her cousin Owen. They were born only three days apart. It was great to watch!

Next, we had one on her actual birthday. We had so much fun!

We had a Zoo Day

I decided it was time to take the kidos on a trip to the zoo. We haven't been since last year. Todd was so excited. He wanted to see the hippos. My favorite are the giraffes. I especially have a special place in my heart for the babies. We lasted almost two hours. It was crowded due to students still being on spring break and Wednesdays are half price at the zoo. Todd carried his map around and would point to our next destination. For the finale we road the train back to the entrance. What a fun day!

My Reagan

My Reagan will soon be one years old on Saturday the 5Th of April. It has been a fast, fun filled year. She has made the transition of being of a mother of two so wonderful. When we found out we were having a little girl Adam panicked. I have to admit I was a little taken back as well. Babies are just little miracles in themselves. With modern medicine today we are able to see the little "alien" at 8 weeks of age and around 20 weeks. Even with that I still had disbelief of the "alien" inside me actually being the same little human delivered to my arms. The whole process is a miracle. A blessing from something much greater than me. I love everything about Reagan. From her toes to the little feather curls on the top of her head. I am a baby bum lover! I told Adam if I had a bum like Reagan I wouldn't wear any pants at all. Her tummy is so cute. I have to kiss it every time I see it. Having Reagan has been such a rewarding experience. She is truly our little Princess.
